PENDING RECLASSIFICATION - GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS CONSULTANT I

 

Your Specific Responsibilities:

This is responsible, independent work assisting Division of Children's Medical Services staff with tasks involving human resource management. The candidate in this position will provide personnel liaison support to include, but not limited to: Advertisement of vacancies, reference checks, recruiting, classification and pay, new employee on-boarding, navigate People Frist, navigate the FLHealthDesk HR to ensure HR tickets are smoothly and timely processed.  Prepare classification actions and ensure actions are compliant with human resource procedures.  Provide general information and assistance to staff and supervisor regarding Department of Health Human Resources policies and procedures.  Assists and advice supervisors in preparing position descriptions.  Maintain and update Table of Organization Charts using Visio program.  Monitors time sheets and ensure timely submission and approval in compliance with pay schedule.  Report all leave discrepancies to the servicing personnel office.  Participate in personnel conference calls and maintain ongoing communication with the department’s human resources management staff to ensure new and updated information is received.
