POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is in the Subgrant Application and Management (SAM) unit and reports directly to the Senior Management Analyst Supervisor (SMAS). This is a full-time position that assists the SMAS in the administration, management, and evaluation of federal grants and subgrants.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will be responsible for the administration, management, and evaluation of federal grants and subgrants. 

Specific duties include:

  • Performing administrative and programmatic analysis of award applications to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, procedures and requirements;
  • Reviewing and processing monthly/quarterly financial reports and payment requests;
  • Reviewing and processing amendment requests;
  • Reviewing program generated income reports and payment requests; and
  • Providing customer service to a large volume of award recipients.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis;
  • Knowledge of basic management principles and practices;
  • Ability to document workflow;
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing;
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others;
  • Ability to collect, evaluate, and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations; and
  • Ability to work independently organizing, planning, and prioritizing work to meet deadlines.

 

BASE SALARY:

  • $ 51,500.00

 

NOTES:

Starting salary will be at the minimum of the class pay range, unless otherwise dictated by FDLE's pay policy. The elements of this selection process may include a work sample and/or interview. Future vacancies may be filled from this position advertisement.
