POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is in the Compliance, Performance, and Reporting (CPR) unit and reports directly to the Senior Management Analyst Supervisor (SMAS). This is a full-time position assists the SMAS in the administration, management and evaluation of federal and state grant. This position is responsible for collection and reporting of required performance data, reviewing subrecipient single audits, conducting subgrant monitoring, and processing programmatic closeouts of assigned subawards.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific duties include:
- Coordinating and overseeing the subgrant onsite and desk programmatic, administrative, and financial monitoring process for all assigned subawards to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local policies, procedures, and program objectives established in approved grant applications;
- Collecting and reviewing monthly or quarterly subgrant performance reports. Aggregate data to ensure compliance with federal reporting requirements and deadlines;
- Reviewing Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports/Single Audits to ensure compliance with 2 C.F.R. §200 – Subpart F;
- Reviewing and processing programmatic closeout packages;
- Reviewing, interpreting, and applying applicable statutes, code, rules, regulations, policies and procedures to recipients/subrecipients of OCJG grant programs. Ensuring Department compliance with state and federal policies and requirements; and
- Providing training and technical assistance to staff and subgrantees in the use of an automated grants management system. Participate in conferences, workshops, and seminars relevant to grant programs. Contribute material or documentation for training materials, as required, and assist in the training of new staff.
To be considered as a potential candidate, you must meet the minimum qualifications(s) listed below. Degrees must be from an accredited college or university as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system including courts, corrections, law enforcement and support activities;
- Knowledge of researching statutes, federal code and manuals relating to grants;
- Knowledge of basic project management principles and practices;
- Ability to work independently organizing, planning, and prioritizing work to meet deadlines;
- Ability to use problem solving techniques;
- Ability to evaluate program performance and recommend problem solutions;
- Ability to organize data into logical formats for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials;
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing;
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others;
- Ability to plan, organize information for tracking timelines, documentation requirements, and reporting functions; and
- Ability to conduct fact-finding research.
BASE SALARY:
- $54,075.00
NOTES:
Starting salary will be at the minimum of the class pay range, unless otherwise dictated by FDLE's pay policy. The elements of this selection process may include a work sample and/or interview. Future vacancies may be filled from this position advertisement.
