This position will be responsible for performing an analysis of an applicant's financial stability to operate. This review includes evaluating the reasonableness of financial projections, including the availability of funding for working capital, contingency funding, and start-up costs. This position is also responsible for reviewing hospital financial data for accuracy and compliance with agency rules and statutes on data reporting. This position will be hired at the minimum pay grade.

  • Good understanding of accounting, financial, and statistical concepts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong background in working with electronic spreadsheets.



  • Minimum of four years’ experience in accounting and/or financial/statistical analysis.
  • Minimum of four years’ experience working with electronic spreadsheets and/or database applications.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    College degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
    Professional or non-professional experience in accounting or finance may substitute for a year-for-year basis for the preferred education.
    Certified Public Accountant is preferred.
    At least 1 year of experience working in healthcare finance is preferred.
