ADVERTISING TITLE: HUMAN RESOURCE CONSULTANT/HR-SES
This open competitive advertisement is for a SES (Selected Exempt Service) position located at Central Office in Classification & Pay.
The purpose of the Human Resource Consultant/HR is to manage and improve Classification & Pay operations by processing position actions, maintaining accurate records, conducting audits and analyses, supporting organizational studies and projects, promoting consistency and continuous improvement, providing technical guidance, and ensuring operational continuity as backup to the manager.
This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.
JOB DUTIES:
- Reviews and processes changes to job positions, including new roles, transfers, and organizational updates.
- Keeps position records, descriptions, and charts accurate and up to date in People First.
- Conducts audits and research to solve classification and pay issues and support organizational studies.
- Analyzes reports and data to find trends and suggest improvements for Classification & Pay functions.
- Provides technical guidance, training, and backup support to staff, and helps maintain smooth operations when the manager is absent.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must possess five (5) Years of Human Resource Experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess three (3) Years of Classification & Pay.
