JOB SUMMARY:

This is a security analyst position on the Information Security Team and provides professional level support for the Security Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Team. The incumbent will serve as the GRC IT Supply Chain Analyst and is responsible for ensuring the department’s IT supply needs meet the business demand. Duties include establishing a comprehensive cybersecurity supply chain risk management program. This entails defining clear cybersecurity roles and responsibilities for internal and external stakeholders, integrating the program with existing security frameworks, and prioritizing suppliers based on their criticality to the organization. Additionally, the incumbent will work to incorporate robust cybersecurity requirements into contracts, conduct thorough due diligence on potential suppliers before establishing relationships, and continuously identifying, assessing, responding to, and monitoring the risks posed by the supply chain ecosystem. Finally, the incumbent will ensure the program seamlessly integrates with existing risk management practices throughout the entire technology lifecycle, even after partnerships or service agreements conclude. This is intermediate level work. At this level, employees may perform a full range of assignments under general supervision or perform a narrow range of assignments independently under limited supervision, and errors may cause inaccuracies in reports, records, or technical data. The work requires applying a general knowledge of business practices to a variety of practical situations. The employee must use skill in applying instructions to accomplish different job functions or in operating machines for a variety of different purposes. Employees at this level must plan at an individual level to accomplish routine activities, goals, and objectives. The work requires applying a general knowledge of business practices to a variety of practical situations. The employee must use skills to perform various system configurations, monitor various types of data, create dashboards, prepare reports/documents, and communicate with various stakeholders.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Five or more years of experience in supply chain management, government procurement, information security architecture, or information security leadership.*   
  • Experience with NIST 800-53 rules.
  • Experience with NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Experience with F.A.C. 60GG rules.
  • Experience with State of Florida procurement rules.

SUBSTITUTIONS:

  • *A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business management or other business-related field may substitute for four of the required years of experience.

PREFERENCES:

  • Experience with IRS Pub 1075 rules.
  • Experience with other cybersecurity rules or frameworks.
  • Experience using SharePoint.
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office Suite experience.
  • Experience using project management, IT task management, Change Management, or audit-related software.
  • Experience in cybersecurity operations such as security operations, compliance, incident response, or cybersecurity focused analysis work.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This position is located in Tallahassee.
  • The tentative salary for this position is $60,000.00 annually.
  • Interviews will be conducted on site for this position.

SALARY: $57,999.96 - $62,000.04
