Job Description
This position serves as an auditor conducting operational and performance audits in compliance with applicable audit standards. This position assists with and develops audit plans and programs, evaluates efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls, evaluates compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures, makes recommendations for corrective actions, and interacts with other agency personnel. This position handles complaints, conducts special projects and assists with administrative support areas. This position performs work under the direction of the Inspector General in fulfilling the duties and responsibilities stipulated in Section 20.055, Florida Statutes. Incumbent must be productive under stringent time frames and balance multiple priorities. Professionalism and consistent attendance are essential functions of this position.
Minimum Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, management information systems or other business field is required.
Completion of a work exercise is required as part of the recruitment process.

Special Notes
Occasional statewide travel is required for this position.
Valid driver's license is required.
