This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Central Office in the Office of Information Technology
The mission of the Office of Information Technology at the Florida Department of Corrections is to provide reliable, secure, and innovative technology solutions that support the Department's operations and enhance its ability to achieve its goals. This includes ensuring the efficient management of information systems, delivering high-quality IT services, and fostering technological advancements to improve overall departmental performance and public safety.
This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.
JOB DUTIES:
- Invoice Master: Review, certify, and submit invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and tracking late or missing payments.
- Vendor Communicator: Monitor telecom invoices, resolve billing issues, and communicate with vendors to obtain missing information and reconcile errors.
- Shipment Handler: Receive and transport IT products, verify deliveries, and manage return shipments, keeping everyone informed on delivery status.
- Inventory Guru: Maintain accurate IT hardware data, resolve inventory issues, and serve as the primary contact for the Property and Inventory Section.
- Report Creator: Generate and analyze reports to assist management, providing recommendations and leading assignments with a positive, can-do attitude.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience certifying invoices for payment.
- Able to lift 50+ pounds.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience receiving deliveries of information technology and/or any products.
- Experience creating requisition in MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP).
Support of knowledge, skills, and abilities should be demonstrated on the application, in the education, in the work experience, in the work sample, in the interview and/or during reference checks.

BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT
