This is a full-time, in-office position only

 

Your Specific Responsibilities:

This is a highly responsible position within the HIV Patient Care and Treatment Access Program in the HIV/AIDS Section. The position is responsible for project management, planning, and monitoring of patient care–related projects and services funded under the Ryan White Care Act, Florida State General Revenue, and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA).

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Provide daily project and performance management support under the direction of the HIV Patient Care and Treatment Access Program Director.

 

  • Manage project timelines, objectives and work breakdown structures in collaboration with assigned project leaders and the program director.

 

  • Maintain project management tracking plans and systems to document information related to assigned special projects, ongoing processes, and program initiatives.

 

  • Support effective planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care activities funded through federal and state sources.

 

  • Submit and track corrective action plan updates, and coordinate with key staff members to ensure that updates are provided until findings are resolved.

 

  • Participates and facilitates strategic planning and team workshops with key unit staff as directed by the HIV Patient Care and Treatment Access Program Director.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Communicating with others in writing as indicated by the needs of the audience; identifying the things that must be changed to achieve a goal; talking to others to effectively convey information; identifying the nature of problems; knowing how to find information and identifying essential information; listening to what other people are saying and asking questions as appropriate; finding ways to structure or classify multiple pieces of information; using logic and analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches; developing approaches for implementing an idea; knowledge of principles and processes involved in business and organizational planning; coordination, and execution. This may include strategic planning and resource allocation, manpower modeling, leadership techniques, and production methods. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar; looking at many indicators of system performance, taking into account their accuracy.

 

Qualifications:

Minimum -

Three years’ experience with project management

Experience with Microsoft Project and Smartsheet

 

Preferred –

BS Degree or higher

Certified Associate Project Manager certification

Project Manager Professional certification

More than three years of project management experience
