Your Specific Responsibilities:

This is a highly responsible professional position in coordinating statewide field services within the Patient Care unit of the HIV/AIDS Section, AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP). This position provides guidance, monitoring, and evaluation to the ADAP regional coordinators statewide and the help desk staff located in Tallahassee. This position is under the supervision of the ADAP operations and compliance manager and requires the ability to work independently without close supervision. The incumbent works closely with other offices within the HIV/AIDS Section and county health departments to ensure operations, planning, and program goals are coordinated and do not conflict with or duplicate those of other offices, as outlined below.  

  

Works closely with the ADAP regional coordinators statewide by providing program oversight and direction. This involves the regional coordinators statewide in conjunction with the local county health department management as needed. Provides technical development, implementation, and management of the day-to-day ADAP field operations. Assists in recruitment and orientation assistance and training to the regional coordinators and conducts site visits to the county health department as needed. Review field operation activities with each regional coordinator, identify needs, and make recommendations for quality improvement. Works closely with Tallahassee's ADAP help desk staff by providing program oversight and direction. This involves developing, implementing, and managing the day-to-day operations of the ADAP help desk in Tallahassee. Assists in recruiting and orienting help desk staff in coordination with the ADAP operations and compliance manager. Provides technical assistance improvement and training recommendations to help desk the staff ADAP as needed. operations and reviews the compliance day-to-day manager for operations of consideration.  

  

Participates in developing tools, coordinating data and other information needed to represent the ADAP on-site county health department either as a member of the section's QI visit team or to provide technical assistance or training regarding the coordination of services for the ADAP program. Provides follow-up reports from the QI visits, makes quality improvement recommendations, tracks and conducts follow-ups, verbal or in writing, and creates, implements, and monitors any corrective actions as required. Participates in the ADAP's quality management and improvement initiative.  

  

Assists in the development of manuals, guidelines, and procedures as they relate to the ADAP Program. Participates in workgroups as assigned by the ADAP operations and compliance manager on developing business needs, developing technical assistance guidelines, and conferences. Educates policies and participants procedures on the role of ADAP and how operations improve the statewide quality of care. Prepares ADAP presentations for clients' statewide meetings. Monitors client surveys, feedback, and suggestions and continuously enhances the ADAP program to meet client needs. Responsible for the program's implementation by playing a major role in assisting with the planning, developing, and maximizing implementation resources of the data AIDS analysis, Drug Data Assistance Distribution Program, and data accordance utilization.

Qualifications:

Minimum – Experience with analyzing data

Preferred – Bachelors Degree

                   3 to 5 years of experience in coordinating pharmacy services
