Your Specific Responsibilities:

This is a highly responsible profession position within the Patient Care & Treatment Access Program of the HIV/AIDS Section. This position serves as a team lead under the Development, Implementation & 340B Compliance team. This position provides guidance, monitoring, evaluation, and lead coordination for uninsured pharmacy services. The incumbent will work closely to assist in project development and coordination as directed by the supervisor.  

 

Works closely with Patient Care & Treatment Access Program State Health Office and county health department staff on developing information and providing guidance to improve uninsured pharmacy services access for the unit’s medication initiatives. Assists with the onboarding of new contract pharmacies for the uninsured network. Works in conjunction with the Patient Care & Treatment Access Program’s Medication Adherence & Training Coordinator to ensure that practices for viral load suppression, medication pick-up, and on-time recertification align with new strategies to serve the uninsured client population. Leads the uninsured pharmacy services evaluation process, which includes; client satisfaction survey, pharmacy focus groups including providers, dispense reporting and access improvements.  

 

Works directly with the Patient Care & Treatment Access, Database & Assessment Coordinator to ensure that program quality improvement initiatives that relate to uninsured services are accurately reflected within the program’s database.  Collaborates with key staff within the HIV/AIDS Section to conduct planning and performance improvement initiatives for uninsured medication access.  

 

Serves as a point of contact for the Memorandum of Agreement process for 340B contract pharmacies under the program. Assists with Patient Care & Treatment Access Program’s medication formulary addition process as necessary. Manages the drug library and dispense related changes needed to ensure dispense information populates correctly into the program’s database.    

 

Collaborates with key staff on the development of standards of care and treatment.   

 

Participates in manual, policy clarification, and training development for the program as assigned by the Development, Implementation & 340B Compliance Manager.  

 

Conducts research and advises the Development, Implementation & 340B Compliance Manager and Patient Care & Treatment Access Program Director as necessary.  Provides additional duties as directed.

Qualifications:

Minimum –

  • Experience with analyzing data

Preferred –

  • Bachelor’s Degree
