DESCRIPTION:

The Bureau of Information Technology is seeking applicants for an Part-Time Office Automation Specialist I in Tallahassee.  Preference will be given to applicants with experience in helpdesk support.  The applicant must have good customer relation skills. The applicant must have work experience in troubleshooting and resolving level 1 help calls.  Applicant must have good communication skills and be able to log calls, assist in application testing and system documentation.  The applicant must be able to work as part of a team and be able to work from 11:00a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This is a part time Career Service position and receives significant State of Florida Benefits. The salary range for this position will be based on the applicant’s proven skill level.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to provide excellent customer service.

Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications.

Ability to effectively communicate information verbally and in writing.

Experience in Application support.

Ability to be flexible and adaptable to learning and testing new applications.

Ability to work in a team environment.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in resolving level 1 helpdesk support.

Experience in troubleshooting application problems.

WORK HOURS:   

Normal work hours are Monday through Friday; 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
