MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

A high school diploma or its equivalent and (4) four years of experience in teaching, training, secretarial or administrative work, two (2) years of which must have involved the use of office automation equipment. 

College education from an accredited institution can substitute at a rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours for each year of the required non-office automation experience. 

Vocational/technical training in an area of secretarial science or office/business studies can substitute at a rate of 720 classroom hours per year for a maximum of two (2) years of the required non-office automation experience.

JOB DUTIES:

Responsible for customer support functions within the OATS Help Desk, including but not limited to: Fielding incoming calls and/or emails from end users, troubleshoot known problems and fulfill service requests, apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting, and collect information from customers to assist in resolving problems.

Responsible for recording, tracking, and documenting issues within the FDACS ticket tracking system for each problem or issue reported to the Help Desk, including but not limited to customer name, division, contact information, and the nature of the problem or issue, steps used to troubleshoot the issue must also be documented, including problem-solving process, successful or unsuccessful steps, and action taken.

Perform remote connection fixes at the Tier 0 and Tier 1 levels, including assisting customers with self-service actions, as well as basic service desk responsibilities including, but not limited to, password reset and unlocking accounts.

Responsible for creating new user accounts following the standards established by OATS and the department, including but not limited to the following: license assignment, assigning users to the appropriate groups, and ensuring all security standards are maintained for user objects.

Maintain awareness of the FDACS environment to be able to identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the agency.

Assist with the observation of the security suite utilized to monitor actions performed by users and devices owned and operated by FDACS personnel.

Accountable for the timely processing of print jobs maintained by the Help Desk. Assist the Asset Management team with delivering and maintaining IT equipment and inventory.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
