JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for monitoring, managing, and supporting batch services by processing schedules and batch jobs utilizing automated workload automation tools such as OpCon and SAP. Daily responsibilities include analyzing, evaluating, scheduling, and implementing production jobs, monitoring system activity and operational alerts, and ensuring the successful completion of scheduled processing.

 

The incumbent will utilize the Department's IT Service Management (ITSM) ticketing system to monitor, document, update, route, and resolve incidents, service requests, operational tasks, and production-related issues in accordance with established procedures and service level expectations. Responsibilities include actively monitoring assigned tickets and work queues, coordinating escalations when necessary, and ensuring timely communication and resolution of operational issues. Additional duties include performing quality assurance reviews of print outputs and production deliverables to ensure all forms, notices, and correspondence meet Department of Revenue standards and requirements prior to distribution to the public.

 

The selected candidate should be prepared to work in-office unless otherwise authorized and will provide operational support for programs and systems including CSP, GTA, PTO, ISP, and other supported business functions.

 

This position provides on-call support for CAMS Batch Monitoring operations and may require working alternate schedules, evenings, weekends, holidays, or during office closures to support critical business operations and production processing requirements.

 

As a designated mission-essential position under the Department of Revenue's Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), this role is required to support agency operations during emergencies, disasters, and other continuity events to ensure the continued delivery of critical business services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Three years of customer service experience.
  • One year of experience scheduling and processing batch jobs using scheduling software.
  • Experience using the ITSM Ticket Management System.

PREFERENCES:

  • Experience working alternate hours.
  • On-call experience.
  • Disaster Recovery experience.
  • SAP or similar system experience.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This position is located at Huntley Park - 5040 W. Tharpe St.
  • Work hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
  • The tentative salary for this position is $3,186.34 monthly.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. with limited assistance. 

SALARY: $36,324.24 - $40,147.80 / annually
