JOB SUMMARY:

This Operations Review Specialist position develops and maintains Program procedures, forms, and instructional materials. The role requires strong writing and editing skills, independent judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and minimal supervision.
  • Develop and revise Program procedures using plain-language writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
  • Create and update instructional guides using the Program’s online knowledge-base tools.
  • Develop and maintain Program forms.
  • Gather and synthesize information from multiple sources into clear, concise guidance.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Use common software applications and troubleshoot basic technical issues

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue. 
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience writing, editing, or reviewing work-related documents.
  • Experience gathering information from multiple sources to produce written guidance or explanations.
  • Experience managing multiple assignments or priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience in Child Support Program operations, including CAMS.

PREFERENCES:

  • Degree or certificate in English, Writing, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, or related field

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • A skills verification test will be conducted prior to interviews.
  • The selected candidate may work from any Child Support Program site located in the State of Florida.
  • This position is not telework eligible.

SALARY: $47,667.96 - $63,653.40
