JOB SUMMARY:

This is a highly responsible, professional position in the Operational Procedures and Training Unit, within the Child Support Program, and reports to the Revenue Program Administrator for the Training team. This position serves as a team lead for the design, development, and publishing of instructor-led and computer-based training materials, aligning with the Program’s strategic goals and revision schedule. This position also serves as the Program’s Learning Management System (LMS) administrator. The team member in this position plans, organizes, and coordinates workshops, facilitates meetings, mentors, guides, and motivates team members toward performance improvement goals. The team member must use critical thinking skills and be proficient in time management and problem-solving techniques to ensure projects meet targeted timeframes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Experience managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Experience gathering, researching, and analyzing large amounts of information and condensing it into simple and clear instructions.
  • Experience designing and developing training using an e-Learning authoring tool.*
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience reviewing documents for accuracy and providing feedback to others.
  • Experience working in a Learning Management System.

SUBSTITUTIONS:

  • *A College degree may substitute for required experience.

PREFERENCES:

  • Preference will be given to candidates who have a degree or certification in Instructional Design, Education, or a similar field. Years of experience can substitute for a degree.

  • This role is eligible for part-time telework after you complete required training and reach an acceptable level of proficiency.
  • If a college degree is substituted for the required experience, please provide a copy of the degree when you're invited to the interview.

SALARY: $51,320.28 - $104,833.68
