Duties and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for ensure Commercial Driver License information is transmitted correctly between states. This position is responsible for ensuring incoming calls handled by the Commercial Driver License Help Desk are being handled appropriately with customer service and professionalism. This position is responsible for developing, implement, monitor, evaluate, and administer policies and procedures for the Commercial Driver License Helpdesk.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Knowledge of Commercial Driver Licensing program.
  • Knowledge of call center practices.
  • Knowledge of regulatory enforcement program.
  • Ability to conduct themselves professionally.
  • Ability to apply governmental policy and procedures.
  • Ability to motivate others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Skill in using a computer. Skill in writing reports and correspondence.

 

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with the following:

  • Experience supervising others.
  • Experience experience developing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and administering policies and procedures.
  • Experience in a call center.

 

Job Related Requirements

  • Occasional out-of-town, overnight travel for meetings and special assignments is required.

 

General Information

  • The elements of the selection process may include a skill assessment and/or oral interview.
