MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma or its equivalent and six (6) years of professional or nonprofessional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering or administrative work; or
A bachelor’s degree (4 years) from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering or administrative work; or
A master’s degree (6 years) from an accredited college or university can substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.

JOB DUTIES:
Handles OCR Error reports. Identifies system errors that occur during the OCR process. Performs research and identifies issues that would hinder packages being created in a timely manner and recommends solutions to those issues. Provides consultation and works closely with IT staff and vendors to resolve operational issues and other problems that staff experience with the OCR application. Applies operations research techniques to arrive at solutions regarding electronic data processing. Prepares reports of findings and recommendations for procedural changes and/or improvements in order to streamline processes.
Handles reports that include National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) results. Performs research to determine appropriate action based on the type of result. Performs research and exports information within the Firearm Eligibility System (FES) database. This includes identifying issues regarding fingerprint results and timeliness of the NICS result that follows. Serves as a Liaison between the Intake program and FDLE to resolve any issues with results received. Provides written recommendations to IT regarding files on the report that contain a “NICS Ineligible” result.
Handles merge file requests from all bureaus within the division. Researches history of files to determine if licenses have printed in regional offices and/or tax collector offices. Communicates with regional office staff, tax collector office liaison, and IT to determine best practices based on issues that arise regarding printing and tying of documentation and fees to specific files.
Serves as Contract Manager for Pitney Bowes, Cenveo, Gilmore Services, Quadient, and American Business Solutions. Completes Contractual Service Agreements and updates commodities received in AIMS. Handles continuous review and renewal of these contracts, keeping up with timeframes and documentation of commodities received and/or services provided by these vendors. Performs other related duties as required.
