JOB SUMMARY:
The Florida Department of Revenue’s Information Services Program (ISP) is seeking a qualified professional to fill the role of Procurement Analyst supporting contract renewals and general purchasing activities. The incumbent is expected to be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple transactional procurement activities in a structured environment.
This position provides procurement and contract support services, including processing contract renewals, purchase orders, and related documentation. The Procurement Analyst operates under established guidance and supports higher-level contract managers to ensure purchasing actions are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- One or more years of professional experience in purchasing, procurement, administrative support, or a related business function.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, finance, supply chain management, or a related field may substitute for the required experience.
PREFERENCES:
- Experience processing purchase orders, renewals, or procurement documentation.
- Familiarity with procurement or financial systems (e.g., MFMP or similar).
- Experience tracking renewals, invoices, or purchasing activities.
- Knowledge of basic procurement rules, procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow established processes and meet deadlines.
- Experience using MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Experience working in a public-sector or large organizational environment.
SALARY: The starting salary will not exceed $43,580.74.
