JOB SUMMARY:
The Operations Review Specialist is a key contributor within the Information Services Program (ISP), supporting Data Processing Services in the Payment and Fund Distribution unit, various .NET applications and SAP Hanna. This position serves as a liaison between business units, technical staff, and end users to ensure system solutions meet statutory requirements, program needs, and operational objectives. The specialist is responsible for analyzing business processes, developing and documenting system requirements, supporting system enhancements, and performing testing, training, and post implementation support. The role also participates in process improvement initiatives that promote efficient and accurate operations and is committed to strengthening technology driven services within the State of Florida.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Six years of professional experience in business analysis, systems analysis, application support, project coordination, or a related field. *
- Two or more years of experience in gathering and translating business requirements into clear functional specifications.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
- * A bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Finance, or Accounting from an accredited college can substitute on a year-for-year basis.
PREFERENCES:
- Experience supporting financial and transaction based systems, including payment processing and fund distribution.
- Experience with SAP, reporting, data analysis, and process improvement.
- Experience using tools such as SQL, Visio, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Office Suite, .NET applications, web based systems, and database concepts.
- Experience working in government, regulatory, or high compliance environments, with strong skills in issue analysis, root cause identification, and solution recommendation.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, adapt to change, and work independently or collaboratively.
SPECIAL NOTES:
- This position is not eligible for telework.
- This role requires on-site attendance in Tallahassee, FL.

SALARY: $47,667.96 - $101,775.00 / annually
