The Florida Department of Health (DOH) is seeking a creative, organized, flexible, and motivated individual to become an essential member of the Primary Care Office (PCO).

The Department works to protect, promote and improve the health of all people in Florida through integrated state, county, and community efforts.

 

Your Specific Responsibilities:

Serves as the primary point of contact for public/applicant inquiry regarding the FRAME program and supports application reviews and eligibility determinations for FRAME participation. Reviews documents and/or contacts appropriate parties to ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Supports the development of program documents, communications, presentations and other informational materials related to the FRAME program as assigned.

Assists the FRAME Manager, FRAME Volunteer Service Manager, and the Health Professional Shortage Area Designation Coordinator with customer service inquiries including data retrieval and report production from the FRAME System of Record and the Health Resources and Services Administration Data Warehouse.

Supports FRAME staff with special assignments, research, travel, purchasing, and meeting planning/facilitation.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree from a college or university is preferred but not required or two-plus years of experience in social services, public health, or health care. A highly motivated applicant will be able to demonstrate critical thinking skills, flexibility, innovation and a desire to improve health care for Florida’s residents.
