POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a part-time position that provides office and administrative support for the Capitol Police division. The position involves specialized administrative and technical duties, which requires he incumbent to work both independently and as a team with their fellow peers.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Specific duties include:

  • Serving as liaison between members of the Department and the public;
  • Maintaining various administrative and inspection logs;
  • Providing administrative support to the members of Capitol Police; and
  • Serving as a liaison for the Capitol Police access identification and entry card system.

BASE SALARY:

  • $17.33/hour

Starting salary will be the minimum of the class pay range, unless otherwise dictated by FDLE’s pay policy. FDLE is a State of Florida Employer and offers a comprehensive OPS benefits package (ONLY available to OPS members who will be working 30 or more hours a week), including:

BACKGROUND:

FDLE requires an extensive background process of all recommended applicants. Preference will be given to current FDLE members who have satisfactorily completed at least six months of the probationary period for their current position.
