The Work You Will Do:
The OPS Budget and Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for working with the Division’s Budget Liaison and Administrative team to facilitate procurements on behalf of the division.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
The Division of Economic Development provides support for promoting the creation and expansion of Florida businesses, attracting out-of-state businesses to Florida, furthering economic development across the state, and facilitating the state’s economic development partnerships. The OPS Budget and Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for working with the Division’s Budget Liaison and Administrative team to facilitate procurements on behalf of the division.
Your Specific Responsibilities:
- Assist with tracking and maintaining the division’s operating budget
- Assist with the creation and tracking of reports related to division expenditures
- Assist with creating and tracking the division’s legislative budget requests and other requests through the agency’s Finance and Accounting team
- Work independently to plan, organize, and coordinate tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Experience with MyFloridaMarketPlace, the State of Florida’s eProcurement system
- Experience processing and approving purchase requisitions in MyFloridaMarketPlace
- Knowledge of the State of Florida purchasing statutes and rules
