Position Title: OPS Clerical Assistant II

 

Job Location: OSCA – Court Services 

 

Salary Range: $16.71 (hourly) 

 

Work Schedule: This position is 20 hours per week and a flexible schedule of working hours is possible. 

 

Job Description: This position provides essential data entry services for court related data within Court Services of the Office of State Courts Administrator. This position is responsible for the sorting, filing and batching of input documents, proper transcoding of data and for accurate entry of this data into court management data systems. This position is further responsible for the verification of data after initial entry. Data entered from this position includes but is not limited to Summary Reporting System (SRS) data, jury management data, and senior and county judge time. This position will also assist in the routing and retention of source documents after data entry is complete including filing and scanning source documents, records retention and management and provide other assistance to Court Services as required.

The work is responsible with a high degree of self-direction. Attention to detail is critical. 

 

Essential Duties:
• Review, transcode, batch and enter data received from a variety of datasubmission forms
• Verify accuracy of data entered
• Sort, route, scan and file data submission forms after data entry
• Other clerical duties associated with data collection and processing as required

This position works independently to enter data. The position will interact with other OSCA staff to coordinate the receipt and verification of various data products. The position will have little or no interaction with persons outside the OSCA.

 

 

Education:
Graduation from high school and two years of experience as a data entry operator, word processor, or other position requiring use of computer terminals.

 

 

Experience:
Six months of related experience.
