Duties and Responsibilities
This advertisement is for temporary Other Personnel Services (OPS) opportunities to be filled within the agency. This position provides operational and clerical support within the Division of Motorist Services. These duties may include: Daily distribution of mail and answering phone calls. Daily filing of office documentation. Greeting customers. Compiling daily bank deposits. Reviewing information for compliance purposes. Typing, filing, scanning business documents. Using Microsoft Word, Excel and/or Outlook to compose correspondence, emails, and compile information.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of general office procedures and practices
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Skill in providing customer service to internal and external customers
  • Ability to organize and maintain filing systems
  • Ability to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, multi-line telephone, scanner, printer, Xerox machine, and facsimile
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and assignments
  • Skill communicating effectively verbally
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others

 

Job Related Requirements

  • Candidates for this position must be 16 years of age or older. 

 

General Information

  • The elements of the selection process may include a skill assessment and/or oral interview.
  • Applicants being considered for employment will be required to submit to a fingerprint-based background investigation, which will include a check of the criminal history records of the FBI. Fingerprints and associated information/biometrics will be retained in the FBI’s Next Generation Identification (NGI) system and fingerprints may continue to be compared against fingerprints submitted to or retained by NGI.
