Must work between 8 am – 5 pm Monday-Friday (Eastern Time).
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent and six months of professional work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference may be given to applicants with previous experience in organizing, sorting and scanning documents.

- Work hours must be between 8 am and 5 pm Monday – Friday (Eastern Time).

Position Overview and Responsibilities:
FWC’s Division of Marine Fisheries Management is seeking someone to serve with our team of professionals to accurately preserve the rulemaking archive by organizing, sorting, and scanning materials for historical archiving and retention into the Division’s archival database.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and sort historical materials into a logical format for scanning and retention.
- Load documents into scanner while maintaining the order of input to ensure materials are scanned and indexed accurately.
- Monitor scanning process and troubleshoot problems, as necessary.
- Perform quality checks by verifying electronic images on the screen and correcting any scanning issues.
- Organize and manage historical digital files across multiple drives to ensure accurate storage, easy retrieval, and long-term preservation.
- Provide support for special projects and initiatives as assigned, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Other relevant duties as requested.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in relation to documents being scanned.
- Ability to plan, organize, coordinate and accurately complete work assignments.
- Ability to use good judgment in decision-making and planning.
- Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Perform high levels of repetitive tasks daily.
- Listen effectively and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Licensure, Certification or Registration Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
