Minimum Qualifications:
One year (1) employment experience working in a professional environment.
Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
Proven organizational capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with the following qualifications:
One or more years of experience maintaining inventory.
One or more years of experience in data entry and reporting.
Requirements:
Employment in this position is contingent upon a satisfactory criminal history check (fingerprint-based) in accordance with Chapter 435, Florida Statutes.
Office hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday.
Not eligible for Telework.

Position Overview and Responsibilities:
This position coordinates mailouts for the FWC’s marine fisheries outreach and education initiatives, including the Catch a Florida Memory program. The position is responsible for overseeing organization, inventory, data entry and reporting, and mailouts of all program brochures, publications and promotional items.
Coordinates mailouts for the FWC’s Division of Marine Fisheries Management – Outreach and Education subsection.
Organizes and maintains inventory of all items mailed out for programming.
Assists with Catch a Florida Memory by printing prize recognitions and mailing prize packs.
Mails out brochures, publications and promotional items for various programs.
Completes data entry and reporting requirements for all mailouts.
Assists with additional outreach and education projects as requested.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience in maintaining inventory
Experience in data entry and reporting
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
Ability to manage time effectively
Skills in effective written and verbal communication
Knowledge of personal computers and related software (Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel)
Ability to utilize problem solving techniques
Ability to plan, organize, coordinate and complete work assignments
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups of people
Ability to lift equipment and supplies weighing 40 pounds or more to accomplish the duties of this position
