Annual Salary Range:

$15 per hour

 

Your Specific Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Communications Director and team for office operations and organization, as well as work on special projects as needed.
  • Performs administrative support duties and responsibilities assisting the Communications and Leadership teams.
  • Assists in planning, coordinating, and organizing various work assignments and projects.
  • Assists in the preparation and distribution of external communications materials, such as social media posts, digital graphics, etc.
  • Assists in the preparation and implementation of internal communications materials, such as newsletters, internal department messages from leadership, and more.
  • Assists in the preparation and dissemination of general correspondence, such as emails, spreadsheets, letters, reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Provides back-up support to other members of the Executive Leadership team and support staff as needed.
  • Reviews and distributes mail. Coordinates, schedules and sets up meetings for Office/Section. 
  • Provides customer service through phone, email, and other communications to internal and external customers.
  • Scheduling travel logistics and reimbursements for Communications Team.
  • Manages and monitors the Communication’s office various subscriptions and services.
  • Monitors the Communication’s office budget, orders, and payments.

 

The Successful Candidate will have the following required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Skill in listening to an understanding the needs of both internal and external customers in a courteous, respectful and effective manner; Skill in independent planning, coordinating, completing and tracking the status of assignments; Ability to multi-task; Ability to work independently and within a team setting; Knowledge of administrative principles and practices; Knowledge of general office procedures and practices; Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data relating to communications; Ability to prepare correspondence and reports; Ability to work independently and make recommendations; Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and TEAMS; Ability to track and monitor news stories, social media, and other external-facing platforms; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; Skilled in planning, organizing and coordinating work assignments. Skill in following oral and written instructions; Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; Ability to collect information/data and review for accuracy and completeness; Ability to type letters, memos, and other standard business forms using correct format; Skill in typing and using correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation; Ability to manage budgets and manage multiple accounts/services.
