DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for overseeing the secure and efficient handling of surplus IT equipment. The role ensures strict compliance with organizational data security policies by managing the removal, documentation, and destruction of hardware components, with a primary focus on hard drives from decommissioned devices. The individual will follow standardized procedures to safeguard sensitive information during the disposal process. Additionally, this position will maintain accurate records and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure proper chain-of-custody and compliance.
