Starting Salary:  $21.18 per hour, up to 40 hours a week.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will coordinate the agency’s recipient/subrecipient reconciliation program within the Bureau of Contract Management, Office of Program Accountability and Program Support. Acts as primary liaison for reporting and recording fiscal source documentation reviews and findings.

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to: 

Serves as a lead monitor for fiscal compliance reconciliation as required by F.S. 215.971 for assigned recipient/subrecipient contracts. Requests and collects information from contracted providers necessary to conduct reviews.

Communicates findings to the recipient/subrecipient Provider and input information into the Program Monitoring and Management System (PMM). 

At the contract’s termination, completes a final reconciliation to verify all funds received against all funds expended during the contract agreement period and produces a final reconciliation report.  

Conducts contract file reviews of Bureau contracts. 

Comply with Section 215.422, Florida Statutes, Prompt Payment Compliance Law for provider invoices. 

Conducts annual administrative compliance reviews

Conducts on-boarding and transition activities for contracted providers

Performs other related duties as assigned.

  

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, INCLUDING UTILIZATION OF EQUIPMENT, FOR THE POSITION: 

Knowledgeable in Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) policies and procedures, the continuum of care of services and systems. 

Skills include systems analysis, data collection and interpretation, focusing and deciphering complicated subject matter. 

Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing. Understand and Proficient in computer technology and systems applications of Microsoft Office, and other functional software programs.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.

Ability to create and maintain Excel spreadsheets using formulas. 

2 years contract management experience.

Experience reviewing fiscal source documentation.

Experience conducting contract file reviews 

A valid driver’s license.
