The Work You Will Do:

The Division of Water Resource Management’s (DWRM) Executive Services Program is accepting applications for an Other Personal Services (OPS) Operations Analyst I position. This position is primarily responsible for assisting with document and file management, scanning of documents, document disposition, data entry and other special projects as assigned. This position also provides coverage and support for the security desk staff.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour (commensurate with experience). Full time (preferred), but part time could be arranged.

 

Your Specific Responsibilities:

In carrying out the duties of this position, the incumbent is expected at all times to be aware of and abide by the Department’s Standards of Conduct, as well as any and all departmental and/or work unit rules, directives, policies, procedures and/or general orders applicable to performing the duties of this position.

  • Provides assistance to supervisor and staff that includes scanning of documents, archiving of records, file disposition and data entry.
  • Assists with program efforts to convert existing paper files into an electronic format, including archiving in the electronic document management system.
  • Creates, organizes and maintains electronic files.
  • Performs quality assurance and quality control reviews to ensure accuracy of records and data files.
  • Assists staff and the public in researching and retrieving files and data.
  • Staffs security desk on a regular schedule to provide break coverage for security staff.
  • Other duties as required.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Knowledge of entering and editing data into a computer system.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to organize files and other documents.
  • Ability to work independently on assignments.
  • Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.  

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent organization and time management skills.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of verifiable related work experience, as described in this posting.
