Your Specific Responsibilities:
The Department is seeking an experienced professional to serve as Government Operations Consultant I - OPS, in the Office of Contract Administration and Oversight Section working directly with the Continuing Oversight Team and the Contract Monitoring Unit. The position will report to the Contract Monitoring Supervisor. This position performs clerical tasks, such as organizing, processing, and monitoring incoming electronic mail, scheduling meetings, and electronic filing. This position attends staff and other professional meetings to exchange information and/or to take minutes; transcribes minutes and distributes to appropriate personnel; and attends classes, workshops, and/or seminars to improve technical and professional skills.
Assists with the Continuing Oversight Team in administrative tasks, including, maintain, and track Continuing Oversight Log; Create and maintain various forms; attend Continuing Oversight Team meetings to take notes and transcript minutes.
Responsible for the Contract Monitoring Unit Tracking Tools; maintain, send, and track reminders within the designated time frames for each quarter, year-end, programmatic and administrative monitoring reports.
Ensures all submitted reports are filed electronically in the corresponding drive or Contract Tracking System, AXIOM.
Assists the Contract Monitoring Unit with the Annual Executive Compensation Process, to include, review documents, file documents, and prepare reports.
Manage and monitor the Contract Monitoring inbox, including, ensuring the Contract Monitoring Supervisor is notified of any requests that require a response.
Provide technical assistance to Contract Managers, Contract Liaisons/Administrators, and other Departmental staff.
Attends teams’ meetings and trainings for updates and/or changes for implementation of new systems for Contract Administration and Oversight Section.
Provide technical assistance to Contract Managers, Contract Liaisons/Administrators, and other Departmental staff.
Perform all other duties and assignments, as required.

- Skilled in the use of a personal computer and Microsoft Office Suite (TEAMS, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Word) at an intermediate or expert level.
Preferred:
- Experience creating and maintaining files.
- Experience performing clerical and administrative office support functions with a variety of office equipment.
- FCCM certification or any other state certifications associated with the contract management process. Some travel required.
- Knowledge of administrative principles and practices.
- Knowledge of office procedures and practices.
- Knowledge of the methods of data collection.
- Knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective communication.
- Two (2) years of administrative and/or clerical experience working in an office environment. College education from an accredited institution can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours for each year of the required experience.
Qualifications:
- Customer Service Experience
- Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills are required.
- Incumbent must possess a valid Florida Driver License and have a reliable motor vehicle to carry out these duties.
- Successful Completion of a Level 2 background screening and due diligence process.
- This position will abide by all state and federal laws, rules, and DOH policies and procedures.
