MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; or

 

Four (4) years of accounting, fiscal or program monitoring experience.  Professional or nonprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

 

An equivalent combination of education and experience which equals four (4) years can substitute for the above requirements.

 

Requires possession of a valid Class E Driver License.

JOB DUTIES:

 

Conduct programmatic and financial operations, including the administration, coordination, development, implementation, monitoring and oversight of grants. 

 

Review contract invoices and reports for compliance with contract terms, state law and federal administrative requirements and cost principles. 

 

Communicates with university research and administrative staff, nonprofit organization staff, other state agencies and federal funding organizations to document and account for use of federal funds.

 

Track multiple funding years.

 

Prepare correspondence and reports.

 

Travel as required, in order to monitor grant awards.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

 

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and/or Adobe Acrobat.
