Position Overview and Responsibilities:

 

The Division of Water Resource Management’s (DWRM) Onsite Sewage Program is accepting applications for an Other Personal Services (OPS) Operations Analyst I position. This position is primarily responsible for assisting with application intake, document and file management, scanning of documents, processing checks, data entry and other special projects as assigned.

 

This position plays a critical role in assisting with the Onsite Sewage Program’s transition from Department of Health. This position will support the work of the Onsite Sewage Program by processing incoming permit applications and processing payments. The work of this position will support a range of operational activities intended to improve efficiencies, streamline work processes and provide transparency in business operations.

 

Performs other related duties as required. 

 

 

 

 Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Knowledge of entering and editing data into a computer system.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to organize files and other documents.
  • Ability to work independently on assignments.
  • Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing 

 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of verifiable related work experience, as described in this posting.

 

 

Position of Special Trust Requirement:

This position is designated as a Position of Special Trust in accordance with DEP Directive 422, Positions of Special Trust or Responsibility. Successful completion of background screening will be required for this position.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent organization and time management skills.

 

 

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour (commensurate with experience). Full time hours are preferred.
