The Work You Will Do:

This OPS Operations Analyst I position will be a part of the Onsite Sewage Program team working in the Division of Water Resource Management. This position is responsible for assisting with file management, scanning, data entry, and other special projects as needed. This position also regularly provides coverage for security desk staff.

Pay:

Hourly: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour (Commensurate with experience). Full time (preferred) or part time.

 

Your Specific Responsibilities:

In carrying out the duties of this position, the incumbent is expected at all times to be aware of and abide by the Department’s Standards of Conduct, as well as any and all departmental and/or work unit rules, directives, policies, procedures and/or general orders applicable to performing the duties of this position.

  • Provides assistance to supervisor and staff that includes scanning, archiving, file disposition and data entry.
  • Assists with program efforts to convert and maintain existing files electronically, including archiving in OCULUS.
  • Staffs security desk on a regular schedule to provide break coverage for security staff.
  • Creates, organizes and maintains electronic files.
  • Performs quality control reviews to ensure accuracy of data files.
  • Assists staff and the public in researching and retrieving files and data.
  • Other duties as required.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Knowledge of entering and editing data into a computer system.
  • Ability to organize files and other documents.
  • Ability to work independently on assignments.
  • Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and effective manner.  

 

Required or Preferred Qualifications:

 

NO POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION REQUIRED:

High school diploma or GED equivalent, and/or 1 year of verifiable related work experience, as described in this posting.
