DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The OPS PALM Administrator position which serve in a critical role as part of the Florida PALM Project team. This position serves as support to the Agency Liaison, Business Liaison, and the CNN (Change Champion Network) by monitoring, tracking, and reporting the progress of readiness activities, RW task, agency risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
Create and manage the internal workplan to navigate through the Project, established timeline and internally driven readiness activities and communicate status updates with supervisor and CNN.
Create and manage Payroll communication plan.
Maintain open and frequent communication with the Agency Liaison, Business Liaison, and CNN.
Participate in internal CNN meetings and engage with other stakeholders and liaison roles as needed.
Work with Payroll staff to completed all required PALM task.
Document change impacts, develop and implement Payroll specific plan for successful adoption of Florida PALM.
Provide training to Liaisions on new PALM system.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
High School Diploma or it's equivalent.
Knowledge of payroll processing procedures.
Knowledge of Principles and Techniques of written and verbal communication.
Knowledge of FLAIR Payroll system.
Knowledge of Department of Financial Services & Department of Management (DMS) Rules, Bureau of State Payroll Manual, and Florida Statutes
Ability to understand and apply applicable policies, procedures and rules relating to Payroll.
Ability to be organized and prioritize work assignments.
Ability to collect and evaluate data relating to Payroll functions.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Ability to meet deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preference will be given to all candidates who possess the following experience:
Three (3) years or more experience in Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR)
Three (3) years experience in Project Management
