WHAT IS OPS EMPLOYMENT?
Other Personal Services (OPS) employment is a temporary employer/employee relationship used solely for accomplishing short term or intermittent tasks.
OPS are at-will employees and are subject to actions such as pay changes, changes to work assignment and terminations at the recommendation of the employer.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will work as a member of the Recruitment & Selection team in the Bureau of Human Resources (HR).
Prepare Classification Request Folders for HR Analysis Review.
Assist with completion of Recruitment & Selection and Classification Projects.
Process Dual Employment Forms.
Process Telework Packets.
Serves as back-up to the Front Desk Receptionist.
Assist with employment verifications.
Performs other job duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of:
Office procedures and practices.
The methods of data collection.
The principles and techniques of effective communication.
Ability to:
Collect and evaluate data relating to personnel program functions.
Organize data into logical format.
Compose correspondence.
Utilize problem-solving techniques.
Perform basic arithmetical calculations.
Understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures relating to human resources.
Prepare reports relating to personnel program functions.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Conduct fact-finding research.
Work independently.
Utilize problem-solving techniques.
Recognize and satisfy customer needs.
Skills in the following area:
Operating a personal computer.
Micrsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
