Position Overview and Responsibilities:
This is an OPS (Other Personnel Services) position responsible for administrative activities in support of the project oversight team. The OPS Administrative Project Specialist is responsible for providing administrative, coordination, and analytical support to the project oversight team to help ensure consistent, efficient delivery of projects across the organization. This role supports project managers, program managers, and PMO leadership by maintaining standards, tracking performance, and assisting with reporting and governance activities. The position is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in project management while contributing to enterprise-wide project delivery and continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate for this position embodies servant leadership, is highly organized, adaptable, curious, detail-oriented, strategically motivated, an active listener with strong interpersonal and facilitation skills, and takes ownership of their work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support PMO operations by maintaining project documentation, templates, standards, and repositories
• Assist with project and portfolio reporting, including schedule, budget, risk, and performance metrics
• Assist with data analysis and preparation of dashboards and executive-level summaries
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, capture action items, and track follow-ups
• Support process improvement initiatives and adoption of PMO best practices
• Provide general administrative and ad hoc support to PMO leadership as needed
• Other duties as required.
Knowledge, skills and abilities, including utilization of equipment, required for the position:
• Skill in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn new tools, templates, and processes quickly.
• Strong critical thinking and judgment skills.
• Ability to organize, analyze, and visualize information.
• Ability to comprehend complex information and articulate it in an understandable format, both written and verbally.

Certification/Educational Requirements and Preferences:
Minimum Qualifications
• At least one year of experience performing administrative activities
• At least one year of experience providing customer service
