This position will hire at $20.00 per hour.

 

Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

The OPS Training and Research Consultant will assist in the creation and maintenance of training and procedural documentation. This part-time role is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn and grow in a government training environment. The Training and Research Consultant will contribute to developing clear and engaging learning materials for a variety of audiences, including web-based training, instructional guides, and desk procedures. 

 

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Draft and revise training guides, job aids, and simple procedural documents using Microsoft Word.
  • Assist in the development of e-learning modules using Articulate Storyline and/or Articulate Rise, applying templates and existing content.
  • Create and update procedural documentation for specific functions, tasks, and roles.
  • Participate in content reviews to validate training materials are clear, accurate, and consistent with company standards.
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as project tracking, file organization, and preparing materials for review.
