General Summary
The Office of the Clerk is seeking candidates for the position of OPS Verifier.
This is full-time temporary employment during the legislative session (January 20, 2025 through May 30, 2025).
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Duties of this position include proofreading manuscripts giving special attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation and verifying the accuracy of printed materials prepared by the Clerk’s Office.
NOTE: Extensive evening work with compensation is required for this temporary position during legislative sessions.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have received a Bachelor’s degree with a major in English or journalism. Extensive experience in editorial work, journalism, or technical writing may substitute for the required degree.
Rate of Pay
$15.00/hour
