MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Professional or nonprofessional personnel experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

NOTES:
This is a part-time position working 20 hours per week. Work hours are from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday; however, schedule is flexible.
Successful applicant must pass a background screening, including fingerprinting, as a condition of employment.
JOB DUTIES
Assists section manager and staff with research and special projects, to include those pertaining to disciplinary actions, reemployment assistance and the performance evaluation system. Assists staff with copying, scanning, faxing, filing, mail-outs and other related duties as required. Opens, sorts, date stamps and distributes mail received in the section.
Scans all documents as needed into the correct employee’s personnel file. Assists in maintaining the Employee Relations section’s logs and tracking sheets, as well as the overall organization of section files.
Serves as the department’s Tuition Coordinator. Oversees the day-to-day operations of the department’s tuition reimbursement and wavier programs.
Ensures meeting rooms are setup and required materials, such as a charged teleconferencing phone, etc., are available prior to all pre-determination conferences.
Assists the Department’s Employee Assistance Coordinator in promoting program awareness, and in organizing and coordinating referral paperwork. Acts as a liaison between the employee and the service provider.
Serves as a backup in reviewing correspondence, counseling and disciplinary actions for completeness and errors.
Performs special projects and other related duties as required.
