The Work You Will Do:
This position reports to the Business Support Program Administrator in the Division of Waste Management. The incumbent will assist the Business Support Program Administrator with the Division’s business management functions, including tracking assignments, assisting with outreach events, and reviewing documents

Pay: Annual Salary: $33,760.00 - $35,000.04 (Commensurate with experience)
Your Specific Responsibilities:
- In carrying out the duties of this position, the incumbent is expected at all times to be aware of and abide by the Department’s Standards of Conduct, as well as any and all departmental and/or work unit rules, directives, policies, procedures, and/or general orders applicable to performing the duties of this position. Incumbent is also expected to actively support and work toward fulfilling the Agency’s Affirmative Action objectives.
- Assist the Business Support Program Administrator (BSPA) with the Division’s business management functions and is responsible for the following duties:
- Will conduct organizational studies and evaluations on office procedures providing technical assistance and developing procedures to assist the Division of Waste Management to operate more efficiently and effectively.
- Tracks, coordinates, and assigns requests to the public records liaison. Prepares responses and sends to the requestors.
- Conducts research including researching Oculus and various program databases to ensure all documentation has been collected in response to records request.
- Responsible for tracking and coordinating all correspondence control items for the Division of Waste Management and conducting any follow-up necessary to ensure timely responses.
- Coordinates work assignments with other program managers and staff.
- Assists the BSPA with Division outreach events, as well as the internal awards policy and distribution.
- Reviews and edits publications and/or presentations.
- Provides technical assistance, consultative services and direction for development, implementation, and evaluation of program functions.
- Provide and support Oculus requests for technical assistance which may include administrative functions and document corrections.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of office procedures and practices.
- Ability to conduct research and evaluate information.
- Ability to understand and follow policy direction and rules applicable to public records requests.
- Ability to work independently; detailed oriented.
- Skill in computer hardware and software (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to utilize problem solving techniques.
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to compile, organize and analyze data.
- Ability to prepare reports and records.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Required Qualifications:
- An associate degree from a college or university and 2 years of verifiable related experience; or Any combination of post-secondary education or verifiable related experience, as described above, for a total of four years.
Other Job-Related Requirements for this position:
- Valid driver’s license.
