Duties and Responsibilities
This position is responsible for developing and monitoring compliance programs for the Electronic Temporary Registration (ETR), Electronic Filing System (EFS), Electronic Title and Lien (ELT) and Salvage Filing System (SFS) agents in processing title and registrations transactions. The position will conduct reviews of the programs including site visits (travel will be required). The position will provide data analytics using the Department’s systems and tools to provide statistical reports for monthly reporting of transaction activities. The position will provide contract management for the various programs. The position will also assist with policy and procedure development and analysis related to motor vehicle titles and registrations.

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants who have the following experience:
• Using the Florida Real-time Vehicle Information System (FRVIS) and the Orion System.
• Auditing programs and creating improvement plans.
• Reading, applying and interpreting rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
• Preparing written communication, to include written policies, procedures, reports, memos, and/or correspondence.
• Performing research, gathering data, and performing data analysis and/or statistical studies.
Job-Related Requirement
- The position you are applying is subject to a Level 2 background check, along with Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) clearance, to include a fingerprint-based check of the criminal records of the FBI, as a condition of employment pursuant to Chapter 110.1127, 435 and 943, Florida Statutes. Please note that, since this position requires CJIS clearance, the Department will have access to all an applicant’s criminal and juvenile delinquency records, even those that have been sealed or expunged.
- This position requires frequent day and/or overnight travel.
- This position may occasionally be required to work overtime. Variation in work schedule may be required due to software/hardware releases, system validation and project timelines.
General Information
- The elements of the selection process may include a skill assessment and/or oral interview.
- Applicants being considered for employment will be required to submit to a fingerprint-based background investigation, which will include a check of the criminal history records of the FBI. Fingerprints and associated information/biometrics will be retained in the FBI’s Next Generation Identification (NGI) system and fingerprints may continue to be compared against fingerprints submitted to or retained by NGI.
- FLHSMV employees are paid once a month on the last workday of each month. All state employees are required to participate in the direct deposit program pursuant to s. 110.113 Florida Statutes.
