This position is a highly responsible position in the Office of Motorist Modernization and will be responsible for the evaluation of current Motorist Systems and make recommendations for future systems that will be designed by the Office of Motorist Modernization.
This position will support the modernization effort by ensuring the continuity of business requirements across the modernization enterprise. The Enterprise Process Analysts must understand the functional areas and activities of each modernization team. This position will be required to act as a liaison between all modernization teams and create and enforce processes related to standards for all business requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of basic computer programming concepts such as configuration, development, and batch processing
- Experience with agile software development, including Scrum.
- Experience with Team Foundation Server/DevOps or similar work item tracking system.
- Ability to process information logically.

- Prepare, review and update requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations for proposed solutions using standard templates.
- Experience using requirement management software, such as Blueprint or Jira.
- At least 1 year of experience working on a software development project.
- Experience creating process flow diagrams.
- Experience creating UI mock-ups.
- Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., although working overtime during the week and on weekends may occasionally be required. This position is currently telework eligible.
- The position you are applying is subject to a Level 2 background check, along with Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) clearance, to include a fingerprint-based check of the criminal records of the FBI, as a condition of employment pursuant to Chapter 110.1127, 435 and 943, Florida Statutes. Please note that, since this position requires CJIS clearance, the Department will have access to all an applicant’s criminal and juvenile delinquency records, even those that have been sealed or expunged.
- The elements of the selection process may include a skill assessment and/or oral interview.
- Applicants being considered for employment will be required to submit to a fingerprint-based background investigation, which will include a check of the criminal history records of the FBI. Fingerprints and associated information/biometrics will be retained in the FBI’s Next Generation Identification (NGI) system and fingerprints may continue to be compared against fingerprints submitted to or retained by NGI
