MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting; or

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a business major and 12 semester hours of accounting coursework.

 A master's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Employee is expected to work overtime as required.

NOTES:

Successful applicant must pass a background screening, including fingerprinting, as a condition of employment.

JOB DUTIES:

Researches and processes corrections for the monthly comparative receipt report.

Processes corrections from the revenue mail box within three (3) working days after receipt.

Processes corrections from the DFS Treasury within three (3) working days after receipt.

Responsible for performing balancing operation of all revenue received daily, including closing deposits, inputting TR33 and transmission of the deposit to the State Treasury.

Position serves as back-up for other positions in the Revenue Processing Section during their absence.

Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
