The incumbent ensures their own continued technical proficiency and trains staff on remedial design and engineering considerations for corrective actions.
  • The position is responsible for tracking U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rulemaking and policy developments relevant to the Department’s programs and ensuring consistent implementation across all affected units. The incumbent provides technical guidance, develops procedures, and conducts staff training to support the application of new or revised regulations.
