This is a full-time position that develops, implements and administers statewide technical assistance and training, as well as evaluation of programs in the Pre-collegiate Programs (PCP) unit, such as but not limited to the College Reach-Out Program (CROP) and the Florida Partnership for Minority and Underrepresented Student Achievement program. PCP programs aim to motivate and prepare low-income and underserved students in grades 6-12 for success in postsecondary education.

The Florida Department of Education (FDOE) has an open position that is responsible for executing the following functions:
- This position coordinates statewide efforts to ensure the goals of the PCP are met and that project partners implement policies that support each program’s intended outcomes.
- This position provides ongoing and comprehensive technical assistance to PCP projects, including reviewing and recommending revisions to project proposals and budgets.
- This position works with the PCP Director in planning, conducting and summarizing program reviews for the purpose of monitoring compliance and identifying best practices or problem areas.
- This position works closely with the PCP Director and advises on the development and implementation of necessary policies and procedures to conduct reporting as mandated by program statutes.
- This position manages daily logistics and planning activities, executing operational tasks that enhance core processes, systems, and strategies set forth by the PCP unit.
- This position is responsible for analyzing a large body of data and translating the results into succinct and accurate formats including charts, tables and graphs, which are used to produce annual evaluation reports of the PCP.
- This position involves extensive work with spreadsheets and database management as well as coordinating the receipt of data from multiple sources within specific time frames.
- This position analyzes other educational access research data and prepares charts, graphs, summaries or other relevant information, as requested.
- This position serves as liaison between the CROP projects and the programming staff within the department in an ongoing process to refine the online data entry system for the institutional CROP student roster data.
- This position performs a series of checks upon the institutional student data rosters and provides technical assistance to the CROP directors and coordinators throughout the state in an ongoing effort to improve the accuracy of the data submitted.
- The employee must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as the position will contribute to writing and presenting reports and data summaries to different audiences.

Required Licensure/Registration/Certification/Experience or Education:
- Applicants must have at least 2 years of professional experience in a position working with state/federal funded programs.
- Applicants must have the ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments.

- Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, others as applicable).

- Annual Leave - All full-time Career Service employees filling established positions earn annual leave in varying increments dependent upon years of creditable service. Employees with up to 5 years of creditable service earn 8.667 hours per month, with 5 to 10 years earn 10.833 hours per month and those with over 10 years of service earn 13 hours per month. Employees in Senior Management Service and Selected Exempt Service positions are credited with 176 hours of annual leave upon appointment. In subsequent years, the annual allotment is credited on the anniversary date of the initial appointment.
