JOB SUMMARY: This is a highly responsible professional position that reports to the Revenue Program Administrator in the Payment Processing and Fund Distribution Unit and provides support to the Program and regional processes in the areas of performance analysis, quality assurance, and strategic research and evaluation. This position is also responsible for developing and delivering training to team members statewide on Child Support and Payment Processing, procedures and rules using published resources. Your duties would include:
- Conducting and facilitating training to meet statewide and local training requirements and providing feedback on training participants’ performance
- Analyzing and resolving complex case issues; reviewing and completing adjustments to financial information; and working with other processes, including technical staff, to enhance system functions.
- Conducting monitoring activities, reviewing operational transactions and performance information to identify trends, and writing reports.
- Reviewing procedures and system functionality to identify existing and potential gaps that create areas of financial risk to the Program and recommending solutions.
- Participating in Payment Processing teleconferences by suggesting and presenting process improvements, workflow changes, system enhancements, and educational topics.
- Maintaining a detailed and up-to-date knowledge concerning the operation of Florida’s Child Support Program, focusing primarily on the Payment Processing and Fund Distribution process.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue in the Child Support Program
- Two years of experience in the Payment Processing and Fund Distribution process within the last 5 years.
- One year of experience in training, teaching, or instructing individuals.
- Experience utilizing presentation software (i.e. PowerPoint).
PREFERENCES:
- Experience participating in or leading a project or team.
- Experience analyzing procedures and workflows.
- Experience writing and revising business documents.
SPECIAL NOTES:
- This position may be located in any Child Support office with a PPFD team and requires travel to conduct training sessions. The position may be housed in Pensacola, Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando, or West Palm Beach.
- This role is not telework eligible.
SALARY: $46,668.00 - $63,102.48.
