MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma or its equivalent and seven (7) years of professional experience in information technology, project coordination, business analysis, or a related field; or
Professional project management certification (e.g., CAPM, PMP, PMI‑ACP) may substitute for one (1) year of the required experience; or
Completion of a 720‑classroom‑hour (1 year) program of study from a vocational/technical school or accredited community college in an area of information technology, project coordination, or business systems analysis and three (3) years of professional experience in information technology, project coordination, business analysis, or a related field; or
A bachelor’s degree (4 years) from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of professional experience in information technology, project coordination, business analysis, or a related field; or
A bachelor’s degree (4 years) from an accredited college or university with a major in information technology, computer science, management information systems, business administration, or a closely related field and two (2) years of professional experience in information technology, project coordination, business analysis, or a related field; or
A master’s degree (6 years) from an accredited college or university in information technology, computer science, management information systems, business administration, project management, or a closely related field and one (1) year of professional experience in information technology, project coordination, business analysis, or a related field.
A valid Florida Class E Driver License is required.

JOB DUTIES:
The Project Management Analyst III reports to the Program and Planning Coordinator – SES and supports the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of technology projects. This role ensures project activities remain organized, documented, and aligned with schedules, budgets, and stakeholder expectations. The position works closely with senior project managers, technical teams, and business units to coordinate tasks, track progress, manage communication, and support successful project delivery.
Project Coordination and Scheduling:
Supports the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of technology projects. Assists in developing, maintaining, and updating project schedules. Tracks milestones, dependencies, and project deliverables. Coordinates team meetings, prepares agendas, and documents outcomes.
Requirements Gathering and Documentation:
Supports the collection and clarification of business and technical requirements. Drafts project briefs, process flows, meeting minutes, and status reports. Ensures documentation remains organized and version-controlled.
Communication and Stakeholder Support
Facilitates communication between technical teams, end users, vendors, and leadership. Provides regular progress updates to stakeholders. Escalates risks, issues, or delays as directed by senior project leadership.
Project Monitoring and Reporting
Helps track budget expenditures, timelines, and resource allocations. Maintains risk, issue, and change-control logs. Assists with quality checks and compliance with project procedures.
Vendor, Resource Coordination, and Tool Support
Manages vendor contracts, verifies completion of vendor work, and approves invoices for payment. Coordinates with external vendors on scheduling, deliverables, and documentation needs. Assists with procurement tasks such as quotes, purchase orders, or resource onboarding. Uses project management software (MS Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, Smartsheet) to update tasks and workflows. Supports team members in tool usage, permissions, and document organization.
Performs related work as required, which will include, but not be limited to adherence to the policies and procedures of the Department’s Information Resource Security Program (Chapter 8 – Department’s Supervisory Manual) and allocate time as requested for Disaster Recovery activities.
