JOB SUMMARY

This is a Project Manager - Government Analyst II position in the General Tax Administration (GTA) Program, Business Technology Office Process, Project Management Office (PMO). As part of the PMO team, the incumbent is responsible for managing multiple large projects that support GTA's strategic plan, legislative requirements, process improvements, and system enhancements using the Project Management Institute's methodologies and best practices. This includes managing project scope, risks, issues, and change requests, facilitating project meetings, and assisting in gathering requirements. The incumbent must be highly organized, possess excellent team building and communication skills, have experience in IT project management, and be comfortable working with multiple business processes/units.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Three years of professional experience managing information technology projects utilizing the Project Management Institute's methodologies and best practices.
  • Possess a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

PREFERENCES: 

  • Experience using project management tools (e.g. Microfocus PPM, Microsoft Project).
  • Experience implementing legislative projects.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This position works in a fast-paced environment with multiple high priorities. You will be expected to manage projects and prioritize effectively.

SALARY: The hiring salary generally will not exceed $5,959.11 monthly/$71,509.26 annually.
